November/December 2010 – A recent report by IFDC concludes that global resources for phosphate rock will be available for the foreseeable future. The report was written by Steven J. Van Kauwenbergh, IFDC principal scientist and leader of IFDC’s Phosphate Research and Resources Initiative.
Dr. Terry Roberts, president of the International Plant Nutrition Institute (IPNI), attended the release of the report, where he discussed the relative efficiency of phosphorus use in agriculture.
