Ghana – IFDC and the Savannah Agriculture Research Institute (SARI) are introducing a heat-tolerant tomato variety that produces more fruit and has a long shelf-life. The tomato seedlings were acquired from the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi Arid-Tropics.

The activity is implemented through the Agricultural Value Chain Mentorship Project in the Northern Region of Ghana.
