Empowering women farmers – as part of our focus on inclusive development – is vital to food security. Often, these farmers face constraints to achieving increased productivity and incomes. Their increased equality in land ownership, credit access, market linkages and training on good agricultural practices, according to UN estimates, could potentially boost food security for 100-150 million more people. Specifically, IFDC works to train and educate these women and connect them to strong and viable markets. This is our pledge for parity: to help these women and girls achieve their ambitions.
