Aziz Boly, Deputy Director of Operations, Africa and Asia, has over 17 years of experience managing and implementing both private sector and international development programs. Since joining IFDC in 2010, Boly has held various finance and administration positions in West Africa. He has successfully implemented, maintained, and upgraded internal control mechanisms to improve efficiency across IFDC field offices. He serves as the primary contact on administrative, financial, and compliance matters related to IFDC, its partners, sub-grantees, and donors.
Prior to working with IFDC, Boly served as Chief Accountant and Logistics Coordinator for Training for Development (traDE) and coordinated logistics for the training of international volunteers for the Peace Corps, U.S. Embassy, Embassy of Taiwan, and Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers.
Boly holds a master’s degree in finance and accounting.
