Fatoumata Coulibaly initially joined IFDC in March 2019 as a BoP Marketing Specialist for the 2SCALE program in Mali, contributing to the development of the agribusiness sector and food industry. She began her professional career at Sasakawa Africa Association, a non-profit farmer-based organization, as a Program Officer and was responsible for building the capacity of extension services and farmers, especially women, youth, and marginalized groups. She also worked as Program Officer for Public-Private Partnership at Sasakawa, where she facilitated producers’ access to markets.

Coulibaly holds a degree in agribusiness management from Central University College in Accra, Ghana, and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Cape Coast. She is currently pursuing a certification in Project Management for professional growth with Project Management for Development Organizations (PM4DEV).
