Olive M’Bahia is an agronomist with a master’s degree in quality and project management. She started her career at the National Institute of Agriculture (INRA) in Tours-Nouzilly, France, where she oversaw the implementation of the quality system management. Back home, she held various technical positions in agriculture and food companies in Cote d’Ivoire. She worked for 5 years in one of the leading fertilizer companies as research and development manager, which allowed her to develop fertilization programs for farmers in Cote d’Ivoire, Mali, and Burkina-Faso.

Olive joined IFDC in February 2019 as the sub-regional coordinator of the EnGRAIS project. Her role is to coordinate the project activities in 5 countries of the region: Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia and Sierra-Leone. Since September 2022, Olive M’Bahia is the Country Director for Cote d’Ivoire and Ghana.
