Jill A. Little, chief human resources officer of the Office of Human Resources (OHR), has experience revitalizing human capital initiatives for union and non-union environments ranging from Fortune 50 multinational companies to entrepreneurial organizations, positively impacting corporate value and efficiencies. Little’s areas of expertise also include organizational development and talent management; international start-ups and mergers and acquisitions; performance management and compensation and benefits; and employee and labor relations and negotiations. Prior to her employment with IFDC, Little worked for Ericsson, Inc. from 2001 to 2013. From 2009 to 2013, she was head of Human Resources and Organization for Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) and was outposted to Johannesburg, South Africa. In this position, she initiated and led the transformation of Ericsson’s complex human resources infrastructure in 47 countries in SSA to support significant operational growth and expansion. She was senior vice president of Human Resources and Organization of the Americas, based in the company headquarters in Plano, Texas, USA, from 2002 to 2009. Little was vice president of Human Resources, Latin America, based in Miami, Florida, USA, from 2001 to 2002. She also previously worked for America Online Latin America, the Coca-Cola Company and Bristol-Myers Squibb. She has served on several boards and is a published human resources author of multiple articles and a book. Little holds a master’s degree in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Glendale, Arizona, USA, and a bachelor’s degree in foreign service from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C., USA.
