The lead implementation partner is ACDI/VOCA and collaborators include the Associates for International Resources and Development, Catholic Relief Services, Crown Agents USA, Danya International and Kimetrica.

Increasing Agricultural Sales

PROFIT+ (2012-2017) is working to increase the agricultural sales values of Zambian smallholder farmers, particularly for value-added processing.

Introducing Integrated Soil Fertilizer Management

IFDC is introducing integrated soil fertility management (ISFM) to smallholder farmers who are participating in maize-based farming systems in the Eastern Province and in horticulture value chains around the capital city of Lusaka, Zambia.

Activities include:

  • Demonstrating a range of improved agricultural technologies
  • Supporting the development of sustainable agro-input supply system
