Transforming Irrigation Management in Nigeria (TRIMING) Extension Service Supervision Project
TRIMING assists farmers in Nigeria’s northern irrigation schemes to increase their agricultural productivity through improvements to irrigated agronomy and value chain development.
IFDC’s consultancy role (2017-2018) is to provide supervisory extension services to four state-level Agricultural Development Programs (ADP) and introduce and promote modern agricultural technologies, particularly urea deep placement (UDP) technology.
Funding is provided by the World Bank through the TRIMING project under the Federal Ministry of Water Resources in Nigeria. Implementing partners are the National Agriculture Extension and Research Liaison Services
