Dr. Cheickh Sadibou Fall first joined IFDC as an economist and policy analysis expert, leading the Fertilizer Policy Expert team within the Enabling Impact department. Prior to IFDC, Dr. Fall was a senior economist at the socioeconomic unit of the Senegalese Institute of Agricultural Research (ISRA) for 18 years and served as the foresight policy officer at ISRA’s scientific direction.
He has taught at Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar, the University of Pau in France, and École Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Analyse Économique (ENSAE) in Senegal. Dr. Fall is also involved in pan-African policy research networks, including the African Growth and Development Policy (AGRODEP) and the Pan-African Network for economic Analysis of Policies (PANAP).
Dr. Fall holds a doctorate in Economics from the University of Pau in France, a master’s degree in economics and statistics from Université libre de Bruxelles in Belgium, and a bachelor’s in economics with a minor in econometrics from the University of Reims in France.
