Dr. Cutts has over 20 years in the agricultural industry, spanning both public and private roles within North America and overseas. With technical expertise across crop protection, seeds and genetics, and crop nutrition, soil fertility, fertilizer and agronomy, he has leveraged extensive experience with overseeing large R&D programs and building value propositions. He has led teams in developing sustainable and regenerative crop solutions—focusing on drought tolerant maize in Africa, increased on-farm input use efficiency within Alabama at Auburn University, and reduced carbon footprint and resource use efficiency in fertilizers with Yara. Dr. Cutts is passionate about collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to bring innovative concepts to commercial reality and facilitate solution impact at scale. Dr. Cutts received in his Ph.D. in Plant Breeding from Texas A&M University, and his M.S. and B.S. degrees in Crop and Soil Science from the University of Georgia.
