James Madden joined IFDC as Controller on July 7, 2025, bringing with him over two decades of progressive experience in financial management, government auditing, and internal compliance.
Prior to joining IFDC, Madden was an accountant at the Rural Development Agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, where he led internal compliance reviews and training initiatives across multiple state offices. He also held leadership roles at the U.S. Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), where he served as Supervisory Auditor and Audit Technical Specialist, overseeing teams, interpreting regulatory frameworks, and conducting complex audits for government-funded programs.
His experience spans both public and private sectors, including previous roles as Director of Finance at Science and Engineering Services, Inc., and Staff Accountant at Cumulus Media, Inc. Madden holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Georgia.
