Oumar Sylla is a Guinean agricultural engineer with a master’s degree in sustainable land management from the AGRHYMET Regional Center in Niamey, Niger. A specialist in rural development and natural resource management, he brings more than 15 years of experience in the design, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of development projects. 

Throughout his career, Sylla has collaborated with public institutions and international organizations on initiatives focused on strengthening food security, improving agricultural productivity, and enhancing community resilience to climate change. Since July 2023, he has served as National Coordinator for projects funded by the Islamic Development Bank at IFDC in Guinea. In this role, he has developed expertise in soil fertility analysis, agricultural mapping, agricultural value chain development, and the assessment of the socioeconomic and environmental impacts of development projects.
