Salome Ng’ang’a heads internal auditing at IFDC, partnering with teams across countries to strengthen risk management and build resilient internal controls. Working closely with the Board of Directors and senior leadership, she helps shape stronger governance frameworks that support IFDC’s mission.
Salome brings over a decade of experience in audit, governance, and financial management, with a career that spans global audit firms and international development. Before joining IFDC, she honed her skills at KPMG and later took on senior leadership roles managing audits, risk assessments, and investigations across diverse organizations and industries.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Salome holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA from the University of Nairobi. Beyond her current professional focus, she is passionate about financial inclusion and sustainable development, with experience in designing solutions for small and medium enterprises and agribusinesses.
