Dr. Zachary Stewart

Dr. Zachary P. Stewart, Chief Scientist and Vice President of Research holds a doctorate in soil science and crop physiology from the University of Nebraska, a master’s degree in control of infectious diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a bachelor’s in biology, environmental sciences, and international relations from Creighton University.

In his previous role as a Senior Food Security Advisor at USAID, Dr. Stewart led initiatives focused on improving global food and nutrition security for smallholder farmers across sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. His work has been instrumental in advancing agricultural production while enhancing human nutrition and livelihoods.
