October 8, 2010, Accra, Ghana – In collaboration with Ghana’s Environmental Protection Agency and the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, IFDC held a training program to educate agro-dealers about the dangers associated with adulterated agro-chemicals.
Isaac Kwadwo Asare, project manager of IFDC’s Ghana Agro-Dealer Development Project (GADD), said the training was in line with the government’s “Better Ghana Agenda” to increase agricultural production and make the sector viable to attract more youth.
Nearly 900 agro-dealers were presented with certificates for completing the program.
