BRRI Honours Granular Urea Users

Dhaka, Bangladesh – Fertilizer producers, farmers and agricultural extension officers were honored at an award ceremony at the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council in Dhaka.

According to IFDC resident representative Ishrat Jahan, about a million farmers in the country use granular urea. In addition to urea deep placement, farmers are trained in the use of improved seeds, water and nutrient managment and other modern agricultural methods.
