HO, Ghana – Only licensed agro-dealers will be allowed to sell agro-chemicals in Ghana, according to the country’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The three-year Ghana Agro-Dealer Development (GADD) project will train 2,200 agro-input dealers in the country. The training will teach the dealers to educate farmers on the correct use and handling of agro-chemicals. GADD is funded by the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa and implemented by IFDC.
