The third edition of the “AfricaFertilizer.org Register of Fertilizer Manufacturing & Processing Facilities in Sub-Saharan Africa” was released at the AfricaFertilizer.org annual partners’ meeting on February 15, 2017 during the 8th annual Argus FMB Africa Fertilizer conference in Cape Town, South Africa.
The register lists operational fertilizer manufacturing and processing plants in sub-Saharan Africa as of January 2017.
Contributors to the register include IFDC, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the International Fertilizer Association (IFA), the African Union, and the African Fertilizer and Agribusiness Partnership (AFAP).
