AFO, an initiative supported by various global partners, including IFA, has been collecting, processing, and publishing fertilizer sector statistics for key fertilizer markets in sub-Saharan Africa since 2009. AFO aims to contribute to the development of a sustainable and profitable agriculture sector in Africa by providing clear and suitable fertilizer information, such as production, trade, consumption, and market intelligence, to fertilizer stakeholders within the African continent.
