The International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC) is pleased to announce that Beatrice Bezmalinovic Dhebar has joined the organization to lead its business development team. With more than 25 years of experience in global health and development, Bezmalinovic Dhebar brings a wealth of expertise in business development, project management, and consultancy.
Her career reflects her passion for leveraging business development to foster links between strategy, implementation, and impact. She has successfully engaged with diverse funders, including the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Gates Foundation, United Nations agencies, and European donors.
Throughout her career, Bezmalinovic Dhebar has designed and delivered capacity-building programs that empower organizations to navigate and excel in business development. As an associate and trainer at Humentum, she led public and custom training programs, supported business development benchmarking research, and facilitated community roundtables to strengthen organizational capabilities.
In her consulting work, Bezmalinovic Dhebar advised small businesses, universities, non-governmental organizations, and faith-based organizations on business development strategy, business planning, capacity building, and proposal development. In a strategic leadership role during her tenure with Management Sciences for Health, she guided the business development team to expand partnerships and secure impactful projects.
Bezmalinovic Dhebar’s global perspective is informed by her extensive experience working in more than 26 countries across Latin America, Asia, and Africa, as well as her six years of overseas residence. Her educational background includes a master’s degree in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College.
As IFDC continues to advance sustainable agricultural development and global food security, Bezmalinovic Dhebar’s expertise will be instrumental in forging new partnerships and expanding the organization’s impact.
